This significant initiative will facilitate a range of programs and collaborative partnerships within the dynamic art sectors of Canada, the United States, and Nigeria. These efforts will promote cross-cultural exchange and enhance the cultural heritage of Edo people worldwide.

Edo Cultural Heritage Commission in North America, Nov. 22, 2025

The Edo Cultural Heritage Commission in North America is an exemplary initiative dedicated to promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Edo people. Our mission is to strengthen cultural connections within the Edo community in North America and Edo State.  We are thrilled to announce our inaugural global event, which will take place both online and in-person in Toronto on Saturday Nov. 22, 2025 at 5 pm Nigerian time, 11 am Eastern time. This event will introduce the proposal and mapping of the Edo Cultural Heritage Centre in Toronto. The centre will feature an Edo-based art gallery (museum), organize workshops for Black youth and children, facilitate exchange programs between North America and Edo State, support Black artists, sculptors, the entertainment industry, and more.    Hosting by Nekpen Obasogie
