The Mapping of Nigerian Community Centre in Toronto

 The inaugural Mapping of Nigerian Community Centre event was held on November 22, 2025, at the Etobicoke Civic Centre in Toronto. Attendees included retired Police Officer, Ojo Tewogbade, Mdn Truddie Edem, as well as a group of newcomers and various community members from Toronto. This initiative reflects our commitment to organizing programs throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), ensuring that we effectively address the needs of equity-deserving populations within the region. Our focus extends to new immigrants from the Global South, youth, seniors, and the Black community in the GTA.

Cultural Splendor: Lady Nekpen Obasogie's Colorful Birthday Party in Toronto, Canada

Lady Nekpen Obasogie's cultural birthday party in Toronto on August 9th & 10th, 2024. Her 50th birthday was celebrated simultaneously in Canada and Edo State on both days. The birthday showcases the colorful and cultural splendor of the Benin/Edo people. The elders in her group dedicated a special song of commendation (encomium) to her!
