Soft Launch: Edo Cultural Heritage Commission in North America , Nov. 22, 2025 , Via Zoom, Toronto, Canada

The Edo Cultural Heritage Commission in North America is an exemplary initiative focused on promoting and preserving the vibrant cultural heritage of the Edo people, strengthening cultural connections within the Edo community both in North America and Edo State.

We are pleased to announce the inaugural soft launch of the Cultural Heritage Commission in Toronto, Canada, set to take place both online and in person on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 5:00 PM Nigerian time and 11:00 AM Eastern time. This event will reveal the proposal for the Edo Cultural Heritage Centre in Toronto. The centre will feature an Edo-based art gallery, conduct workshops for Black youth and children, facilitate exchange programs between North America and Edo State, and support Black artists, sculptors, and the entertainment industry, among other initiatives.
