African Art Festival, July 19th & 20th, 2024, Black Version of Benin Bronze, India Mask, Arrived Canada from Benin City

 This is the black version of Benin Bronze, India Mask, made in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. It will be exhibited on July 19th and 20th, 2024 at Etobicoke Civic Centre, in Etobicoke 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Everyone is invited to come view and learn about the rich African history entrenched in many Benin Bronzes.

Lady Nekpen Obasogie's cultural birthday party in Toronto on August 9th & 10th, 2024. Her 50th birthday was celebrated simultaneously in Canada and Edo State on both days. The birthday showcases the colorful and cultural splendor of the Benin/Edo people. The elders in her group dedicated a special song of commendation (encomium) to her!
