Advertise your business or organization with Edo Language Day's Magazine. The 2023 Edo Language Day Worldwide would be hosted by the organization of the Edo Language Day Worldwide (ELDW) and NEBO TV in collaboration with the Edo State Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Diaspora Affairs (Arts Council). We have scheduled August 12th and 13th, 2023 to celebrate the event worldwide. To be hosted at Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub in Benin City. A space has also been booked at Fairview (Sheppard and Don Mills, North York) for the in-person event in Toronto on August 12th, 2023. Zoom link will be provided for virtual participants and guests. The ceremony day (August 13th) will commence online via Zoom. Everyone is invited to join us online worldwide to celebrate the first annual Edo Language Day. Absolutely Stunning: Organizers, Guests & Dignitaries, 2024 Edo Language Day in Toronto

The 2024 Edo Language Day Worldwide program, with the theme of the Renaissance of Edo Indigenous Languages , was successfully organized in Canada on August 10, 2024. The event took place at the University of Toronto, Canada. T he First Black Female Member of Parliament in Canada, Hon. Jean Augustine gave a presentation on her visit to Benin City decays ago when she was still a member of the parliament. Canadian Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP), David Smith, gave awards to the Committee Members of Edo Language Day Worldwide program in Toronto and appreciating their efforts and commitment towards the development of arts and culture in Canada. Some prominent Edo personalities present at the event includes: Pa Eghianruwa Ọmọruyi, Lady Aghabiomon Ogbeiwi, and Dr. Harris Enabulele and Dr. Alphonsus Obayuwana, Nosakhare Alex Ihama, Mr. Aghahowa Tunde Obazee among others. The Committee Members of Edo Language Day Worldwide made a historic visit to Dr. Patricia Fadaka-Igbinovia on April 28th, 2024 in New York. I was privileged to present an award and my second book to her. It was a delightful moment, as I honored a prominent Edo woman who has contributed immensely to the development of Edo State. She served in different capacities in the state, including Commissioner, High School Principal, and other positions before emigrating to the United States where she later acquired her Doctorate degree . The 2024 Edo Language Day Worldwide program was successfully celebrated on August 10th and 13th, 2024. The event was hosted simultaneously in six locations worldwide, including Toronto, Auchi, Ososo, Okpella, and Ekpoma. In Toronto, the event was hosted at the University of Toronto in Partnership with OISE/University of Toronto. Some prominent Edo citizens in the United States such as Pa Eghianruwa Ọmọruyi, Lady Aghabiomon Ogbeiwi, Dr. Harris Enabulele, Dr. Alphonsus Obayuwana, Mr. Aghahowa Tunde Obazee, Prince Ephraim Odiakaosa Nwabuokei, Osadebamwen Oviasogie, Mrs. Adesuwa Joyce Osunde, Dr. Itohan Idumwonyi, Mrs. Rita Oviasogie, and others came to Toronto to grace the event on August 10th at the University of Toronto.
