NEKPEN OBASOGIE - THE STARDOM PRONED TROJAN, BY CHRIS OSARETIN EBURU

NEKPEN OBASOGIE - THE STARDOM PRONED TROJAN. Born in her native land of Benin City, Nigeria in the West Coast of Africa, Nekpen in her early years as a lass, enjoyed the ambience and cultural flavour of the Great Kingdom of Benin, obviously shrouded in the misery of a patrimonial setting, where the gender superiority took the centre stage, with prominence given only to the male folks whose voices were clearly overwhelming enhanced by cultural legality.
Amidst, all vagaries of gender superiority there arose a voice, a feminine voice like of him that cried in the wilderness for the emancipation of women in Africa, only confined to harem's activities. The very dynamic and enterprising Nekpen in dare need for a change, decided to make the difference. With her High level of education as an assert,  she drove in the vehicle of  her rich cultural background, livened by its enviable traditional values. Nekpen Obasogie, having being grossly influenced and overwhelmed by a burning passion for the Benin Culture and its affluence, irrevocably resolved to join the pantheon of Benin living heroes and heroins to further strengthen and broaden the horizon of the great kingdom of Benin. In her sincere crave to doing this, she employed the Television and the Print media as channels of expression. Over the years she has used the NEBO TV Canada as broadcast medium to reach the entire human race to draw up super advocacy for the furtherance of the dynamic Arts, Culture and Tourism potentials of the great kingdom, BENIN. A prolific writer, a cultural protagonist, a Multiple Award Winner, a first class lady of steel, a voice  to the voiceless, the beautiful face of Africa of an Edo descent, Nekpen Obasogie in her youthful state no doubt has contributed immensely to nation building via her selfless activities through her chosen media of presentation. Recently admitted into one of the best Universities Globally in Canada, for her doctorate programmes she is clearly advantaged by her great wealth of experience in her chosen field of endeavour. What is more, she was recently invited to the United States of America as a true daughter of the Great Kingdom of Benin, given her antecedence as a highly distinguished, deserving and bonafide daughter of the Great Kingdom of Benin to witness the ceremony of the return of Benin prestigious artifacts, which looting and subsequent clarion calls for Returns has spanned between between 1897 until today. Ultimately, we heartily congratulate our very own, Nekpen Obasogie for her outstanding achievements to the continuous growth of the Culture of the African People ably pioneered by the Great Kingdom of Benin.....
