The Oba of Benin, Ewuare II welcomes Quadruplets (three boys and a girl) The press release from the Benin Traditional Council states that “the grace of the almighty God and the benevolence of our ancestors, the Benin Traditional Council on behalf of his royal majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, Oba of Benin and the Royal Palace of the Benin kingdom, joyfully wish to announce the unprecedented and historical event that just occurred in the Benin Royal family.


 The palace of the Oba of Benin is delighted to announce that her royal highness, Queen Aisosa Ewuare of Benin Kingdom, the fifth and youngest Queen has delivered a set of Quadruplets (3 boys and a girl). Yes Quadruplets. The Quadruplets and their mother are in excellent health. May the Lord God Almighty and our ancestors protect mother and the Quadruplets in good health and bless them with long life. 
We congratulate our beautiful, elegant and amiable Queen, her Royal highness Queen Aisosa Ewuare for a safe delivery and pray that this happy occasion shall berth more blessings for her, the Palace and the entire Benin kingdom. The Edo Cultural Heritage Commission in North America is an exemplary initiative dedicated to promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Edo people. Our mission is to strengthen cultural connections within the Edo community in North America and Edo State.  We are thrilled to announce our inaugural global event, which will take place both online and in-person in Toronto on Saturday Nov. 22, 2025 at 5 pm Nigerian time, 11 am Eastern time. This event will introduce the proposal and mapping of the Edo Cultural Heritage Centre in Toronto.
